Meet the people who serve Jamestown Seventh-day Adventist Church and help support its ministry.

Nate Skaife
Pastor
Pastor Nate was born and raised in southern Wisconsin. Before he heard God’s call to full-time ministry, he worked as a custom home builder. After completing his bachelor’s degree in Theology from Andrews University in 2011, he accepted a position in full-time ministry in Milwaukee, WI. While pastoring, he continued his education, completing a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Ministry. He served multiple churches in the Milwaukee area and Grand Junction, Colorado before the Lord opened the opportunity for him to move to North Dakota to serve as the pastor of the Jamestown Seventh-day Adventist Church in the summer of 2023. Outside of enjoying life with his wife, Rachel, and their two daughters, Nate’s interests include scuba diving, hiking, fishing, and other outdoor pursuits.

Lois Nenow
Treasurer
Lois Nenow served as a teacher for 33 years and has continued in the classroom as a substitute teacher. She also assists with her family’s business as its primary bookkeeper, bringing valuable experience to her role as church treasurer.
Family is especially important to Lois. She treasures spending time with her husband, four daughters, her sons-in-law, and her eleven grandchildren. She also enjoys reading, taking road trips, and gathering with friends.
The church has always been an important part of Lois’s life. In 2020, she was invited to become treasurer of the Jamestown Seventh-day Adventist Church following the retirement of the previous treasurer. What began as an opportunity to meet an important need has become a ministry she truly enjoys. Lois is grateful for the friendships, fellowship, and opportunities to serve that make her church family so special.

Lacey Peppersack
Clerk
Lacey grew up in central North Dakota and was raised in the New Home Church in Sykeston, a place that will always be very special to her. After high school, she moved to Fargo and graduated from North Dakota State University. In 2021, after she and her husband welcomed their first daughter, they moved back to Jamestown, where they are now raising their two girls.
Lacey serves as the church clerk and works as a professional recruiter. She and her family enjoy boating, exploring new walking and biking trails, venturing out of town to find fun activities, and trying new restaurants. Lacey is also an avid audiobook listener and usually has one playing whenever she gets the chance.
